Stawley & Ashbrittle Parishes

wrens.jpg11

We have something for all ages and most interests..

Stawley and Ashbrittle are linked by geography and history to the local ecclesiastical parishes of Kittisford (which is actually in Stawley Civil Parish), and Bathealton. News of what is happening in the near future can be found in the Parish News which is availabale free to all residents and at the shop.  The calendar is also kept up to date to allow you to see what is going on and, hopefully, reduce the number of clashes between events!

Cricket

We are fortunate in having a very active cricket club that is doing particularly well at the moment.

They have their own website which can be reached by clicking this picture of the Appley Pavilion.

Appley Pavilion

The Pavilion at Appley Cross was re-built in 2004 by local people and is now home to the Pre-School, Cricket Club and other organisations.

You can hire it from £35 for a four hour childrens' party, £50 for an evening party and £275 for a wedding reception.

To make a booking contact Suzette by e-mail: suzette@pyttfarm.eclipse.co.uk

Within these Parishes of about 500 souls we have no less than four churches! Ashbrittle, Stawley (pictured here), Kittisford and Greenham.   Most importantly they are used by the travelling worshippers on a weekly basis and many more for the the major festivals, baptisms, weddings and funerals.

They are part of the Wellington Team Ministry and the times of services can be found by clicking here:
